The Umbrella Committee is a volunteer organization, run by students from various Lamorinda high schools, that provides workshops to school-aged children to educate them on four aspects of identity: race, ethnicity, nationality and culture.
The goal is to promote allyship, and teach kids fundamental skills such as inclusivity, kindness, and friendship, and how to support their peers and embrace their differences.
